IPD OBD II Scanner ? S70 1998

I was thinking about it too, but I'm just starting to.

I bought my '95 about a year ago and I just tried the diagnostic port and get nothing from it.

Do I need to start troubleshooting, or shld I just buy a scanner (my wife just got a '96) and say screw it...

still, why no light on the port? anyone had that problem?
I followed the instructions in the IPD catalouge and the ones on bay 13
