Check engine light dilemma 850 1997

I have experienced this on our 95 855 a few times. Now I always
run it at least 90 seconds (useually longer). In two cases,
it would not start at all (it was flodded). The dealer took a
shot at repairing this (de-carbonized piston tops, etc.) but
the problem is still there. I don't think there is really anything
the dealer can do in this case.

My 98 S70 has never shown a tendency to do this (but it has a newer
motronic ignition and seems to start up easier under all conditions).
