how many volts should i have when running? 850 1996

I'm going back to high school autoshop for this one, but our teacher drilled it into our heads.

"Car batteries have 6 cells capable of producing...not 2 but 2.2 volts each. A fully charged battery in good condition should have 13.2 volts. Automotive charging systems are designed to produce between 14.8 to 15.2 volts when they are charging the battery."
