No response from diagnostic port 850 1995

If you are having problems accessing/communicating with the port under the hood on the earlier 850's, you may want to try using the access port under the ash tray inside the cabin, or vice versa. I say this because most OBD-II scan tools for the 850, use the cabin access, while earlier 850s, 95' and older, also have the module in the engine cmopartment. If you are having problems resetting service lights at both, I'd be pretty worried, as it probably won't just be an access port problem, and may be more severe, i.e. ECU.
