Climate control 850 1996

My Question is: Why is the A/C light ON when the A/C is OFF and visa versa???

I also noticed that with the climate control set in AUTO, A/C off, left and right temps set at 72, and the fan switch set to 0 (zero), I get heat coming through the vents. If I put the fan switch on AUTO then cool air comes through and with the Air Mix open even cooler...

And do the REC and Air Mix kinda cancel each other out? With REC on and the Air Mix open your getting outside air in.

Maybe I need to read that section of the owners manual again. Never had to read the temp control section on any car I owned...

Joe
