If changing to Syn Oil, should I do an Engine flush? 850

We just purchased a '95 850 glt last week.Immediately upon arriving at home I switched to Mobil 1. This car has 76k on the clock. This weekend I will change to synth. ATF. I will use an engine flush in about 1000 miles before switching over to Amsoil, while adding one of their by-pass filters as well. I like the idea of using the flush agents gradually. However, this is one of those topics where we are on our own- each car is a case by case basis. Are you going to pull and clean the oil-pan,etc., etc.? How thorough will you be?
