Grille comes off easily and no, it wasn't foam V70-XC70 1998

Thank you for your instruction. Being a highly visible area, I didn't want to take a chance. For other readers, there are two flat metal springs holding the grille with friction (visible through the grille). There are no barbs as I had thought. The control wheels are not attached to the grille.

Inside, the obstruction I thought was foam was really a rubber-like seal that I pushed out of the way, but was not really satisfied this will be a permenant fix. We'll see if this needs to be redone at a later date.

Thanks Bryan!
