Wind Noise TSB 850 1996

There was a recent discussion of wind noise and how much it sucks. Anyway, I subscribe to the Alldata service that provides all the TSBs and other useful info for my car (well worth the $24.95), and I found a rather detailed TSB on wind noise and how to cure it. I don't think the dealers use this number, but in Alldata it's number 883802. It's dated 4/1/97 and is titled "Side Windows-Road Noise". It involves "adjustment of electric window winder upper stop" and is .7 hours worth of work (by a qualified tech) for the front windows.

If you want more info you can e-mail me at rgpalmer99@yahoo.com, or you can ask your dealer to look it up for you. But it looks pretty promising if you're bugged by wind noise.
