Posting here because the other light thread is falling to the bottom... Anyways, I ordered the lenses from Precision today, spoke to both Tim and Dave (dammed nice guys, btw). Tim mentioned that the lenses will still use the 9006 and 9005 bulbs, so I assume the only thing I'm actually changing is the glass, and the rest of the assembly stays on the car. Is this correct? I'm planning on getting some new bulbs while I'm at it all, probably some "Premiums" at autolamps-online.com. That's the hot ticket with the 9005/6, right? Any pointers on installation of the lenses? I imagine my shop manual will come in handy on this small project. Stern's website is chock full of great info, anyone interested in lighting solutions should spend some time reading what he has to say.
