98 850 AWD V70-XC70

In the US, there is no 1998 850 AWD. That year they redesigned teh 850, more of an upgrade, and it became the S/V/C70. 1998 was sort of the golden year. In 1999 they started adding some new features to teh 70 series and initally caused some problems. When you say "Ford" volvo, Ford didn't take over volvo until after 1998, and even then they had no influence because the design were made before their time. All are pretty reliable, the AWD is fine but is a little more high maintanence than the FWD 70.
