obd-2 code... 850 1996

Typically this means the front O2 sensor needs to be replaced. I have replaced the one my '94 854T and my friend's '97 855GLT. I think they tyically go out between 50K and 100K. The oem part runs about $160 from a discount parts shop if I remember correctly. Replacement is not too difficult. Just requires a bit of patience, an O2 sensor removal socket, a way to safely jack the car up and a lubricant like PB Blaster to loosen up the threads.
