Rattle noise emminating from Auto Shit stick area S60

Just got my S60 T5 3 weeks and already it's starting to rattle.
Just 2 days ago, i was dring along a tiled road, it made for an uneven ride. And I notice a vibrating noise comming at the auto shit stick. It looks like the plate below the stick was vibrating and causing the noise. Might have been caused my the excessive vibration from the tiled road. But now everytime the S60 goes on some uneven road, the rattle can be heard.

I hope the folks at Volvo has a remedy to this.
Anyone else encountering this problem?
