50 mph on highway then splutter, stall to 5mph - Scared to death 850 1996

850 1996 wagon - On highway in the fast lane, going along merrily then splutter, cough, lost acceleration and gradual slowing to 5mph (still spluttering) - Got me scared to death. Thought it was fuel originally.

Hesitation & spluttering also from traffic lights for a few seconds until it takes up.

Went to dealer who installed new fuel pump for $100.

Got home & tested the problem a few ways and it is definately still there and worse with AirCon on. Electrical ?

I'm scared of getting on this bronco again !!! I've read on this site about the fuel relay problems others have had.

Any thoughts ?
