Jackstands 850 1994

Brake work is very easy on our cars.

You can't use ramps since you have to take the wheel off.
Also, I don't know if you can use the OEM jack to lift the
car high enough for front jackstand(s).

I use a floor jack and one jackstand and do one side at
a time. I keep the floor jack in place but the jackstand
is really holding the car up. A floor jack is a worthwhile
investment. If you buy one, make sure it is rated to lift
all your vehicles especially if any are heavier then your
Volvo (that way, you can use it on all your cars).

To bleed the brakes, or flush the brake fluid, you will probably
want a power bleeder. Here is a nice one that many people use
with good results: http://www.motiveproducts.com/
