My 850 almost killed me!!! 850 1997

I was using the jack for repair/maintenance work (I know, not the smartest thing). I was putting on new brake pads. The car fell off the jack and onto the wheel that I had tucked underneath (just in case). If it weren't for that wheel, I'd be looking for a Volvo wheelchair!!! And yes, the jack was in the proper place etc etc.... the problem was that the front wheels were turned so I could have better access to the calipers. That angle of the wheels made the car VERY easily tilt back. It soon collapsed. I think the design could be a bit better. But, never the less, Don't use the jack for repair work!!!!
