Mass Air Sensor, $230 a good price? 850 1996

I've got my 854t into my inde-mechanic and he says the check engine light and crappy running motor is being caused by the Mass Air Sensor. Not sure if this is the part that attaches to the airbox. He said it has a plug w/4 wires. Anyway, he's quoting $230 for the part plus labor. I imagine this is reasonable? I was thinking it was a temp sender or O2 sensor going tango-uniform, so this fix is easier on my wallet!

thanks,
