Ford will use the V70 chassis

There is a story in the latest AutoWeek issue, February 18, 2002, about the new car that Ford is developing to combat the upcoming Chrysler Pacifica. There is also a spy shot of the car.

Ford is planning to use the V70 platform for that car! So, I guess, Ford "saw the light" and will start using Volvo platforms!
