Every Volvo owner who can should buy the IPD Motronic Upgrade!

I can't pitch this enough - it is SO FANTASTIC! My '98 V70R AWD is a different car now - feels 1,000 pounds lighter, and I always feel like I have plenty of power to spare at all times. In gentle but long inclines, the increased horsepower mean the RPM's stay reasonable and you don't hear the engine working - actually, you feel like you could launch off in a drag race as you climb the incline. The shifting is smoother, and I am getting about 1.2 mpg better average gas mileage as well. My buddy with his V6 Maxima wanted to see what this baby could do, and so we were both at a stoplight turning left - light turned green, and I literally peeled around the corner. In less than one block, I was 4 car lengths ahead of him, and the problem was that I had a red light coming up at the end of the block, so in less than one block, after turning left, my V70R reached 70mph and I could barely stop before rearending the Mercedes (diesel, no less) stopped at the light. Unreal.

My only regret was that I didn't get this earlier.
