'94 850 Outside Temp Now in C, was in F 850 1994

The display in the dash that has the outside temp message was in F before resetting the "Service" light. Now it is in C. Does anyone have instructions for changing this display?
Also, the entire message bar cannot be seen at night. Anyone know how to fix this?
