Antenna amplifier 850

Hello,

I do alot of travel for my work in Northern Canada, and have tried several signal boosters, and hidden antennae to try to improve the AM and FM reception in my 855. In other vehicles, I can receive an FM signal about 60 miles from its source (it is a weak signal to start with in this case), but in my car the signal is only useful for about 20 miles. The difference is these other cars have standard mast antennae, which provide a far better signal than the thing painted on our window in the back. My next experiment is to try the European style mast antenna from a V40, mounting it somehow to the rear spoiler. May not be for a few weeks til I have the time to try, but can let you know how it goes.
Hope you save your money on the booster.
