Tranny fluid, it's not real pink, is it OK? V70-XC70 1998

On our 98XC, the car went to the dealer to get some warranty work done at 39K, typical... (3rd time). The tranny fluid was "supposedly" flushed (synth)last time we took it in at 32K as it was burnt bad & had some "delayed shift problems" It started clunk/shift again but not as bad. The Volvo dealer chose not to look into the tranny fluid or bother with it as they claimed it was ok. It is "not" pink I said and then was told "its' ok" and they see it all the time. BTW they chandes the upper rubber eng mount that was split, 'said that was the clunk problem. We'll see? ( We got rid of our last car, a 94 chrysler' beacause of tranny problems, I think we're cursed!).
I hate to put on added coolers & filters as some do, due to avoid voidiing the warranty as its extended.
