I bought my 97 T-5 used and have enjoyed it very much. However a small problem seems to never go away. At about 100 KPH (62 mph) the steering wheel shakes and continues to do so until the car accelerates above 90 mph. The brake rotors are new and there is no vibration on braking. The wheel shakes on decelartion also. Could it be a simple wheel balance issue? I put on winter tires with new rims and the problem seems slightly worse now than with the summer set of tires. What are the symptoms of CV boot problems? I will balnace the tires this week to see if that cures the ills. Any ideas appreciated.
