Heated driver's seat? 850 1995

Guys

1995 850 GLT (RHD, purchased Sept 2001, 74,000 kms)

I was cleaning inside the car and noticed underneath the driver's seat that there were several electric wires going up into the foam. There are no similar wires underneath the passenger's seat. There is no switch on the console for a heated driver's seat. I looked in the handbook and saw that the switch for a heated driver's seat would be on the front right of the console. However mine has a blank panel. I removed that panel and found a socket underneath which looks as if it could take a switch.

Am I right in thinking that Volvo pre-fitted a heated driver's seat but did not connect the electrics, and all that I have to do is buy the switch?

Thanks

(PS: good advice on changing the flame trap)

Chris H.
