OIL information S70 1998

I have been using m1 synethetic in my 98 T-5 for the past 3 years. for about 25,000 miles I have run on the 10W-30 and done my changes on time. I have noticed by the end of the 5,000miles the oil turns a dirty brown color, and though the engine performs the same etc it worries me that this may not be normal. I was wondering if this may be due to deposits in the engine, and if so - how does one get rid of that stuff?
