IPD engine stabilizer bushing installation 850 1995

I replaced the worn engine stabilizer bushing with a new IPD poly model and as satisfied with the results. Note, that with the turbo motor's plumbing in the way, I had to hold a hacksaw blade in hand and work on the old bushing. Ten minutes of sawing and a couple of whacks with a small chisel and it fell out.

I did notice that the bushing on the firewall mount was beginning to crack and will replace that soon. Looks like that one comes as a unit.

BTW, Haynes suggests using new bolts at both points when removing the stabilizing strut. IPD didn't. They appeared to be fine and I reused the existing.

Regards,
Erwin in Memphis
