First ...'Don't Panic!'. Then... is it a turbo? 850 1997

If it's still under some sort of warranty, the dealer should fix it. If not, it's a used car with 115k on it. It's not a Toyota, either.

1.) When my turbo oil return line "o" ring cut loose it looked like it was leaking out of the drain plug. It was right after an oil change. The "o" rings always fail eventually. Anyway that repair is only a few bucks, literally, I think all the parts are less than $10, so look for that first.

if the link doesn't work, try volvospeed.com, go to maintainance and repair, then go to 850-SVC70 Turbo Oil Return Line. Is that (the picture) where it's leaking from?

2.) Most areas that have a Volvo dealer also have several independent Volvo shops. Wherever there are Volvo dealers there are also disgruntled Volvo technicians and disgruntled Volvo owners. Check the pull down menu above. "Features" and go to "shops".

I have three excellent Volvo indies in my area. Even my Porsche mechanic claims to have a bunch of VOLVO customers, thanks to my dealer!

3.) "'97 855 115K want it?" Sure, oil leak and all, if the price is right! I'm actually looking for one. Where are you? But are you really at "that point", yet?
