2000 S70 versus 1998 S70 S70

Vladimir,

Thanks for the input. I was not going to replace the air pump. However, I am getting very low milage now--about 20 mpg vs 26 mpg on a trip. I figured the air pump could have something to do with this. My independant mechanic says that the car would not run as efficient without the air pump. He also verified that the caliper boots were off and that they would have to be replaced at some point in time. My main concern now is the low milage. If not the air pump, than perhaps a failing turbo. Other than that, the engine seems to be running fine. Any ideas on this would be appreciated.

Ed
