SRS light ODBII 850

I recently removed the dash pad on my 96 850 (ODBII)to install a trip computer in the guage display. Apon reinstalling everything and giving the car power the SRS warning light on the display has illuminated. I'm sure it is because the driver's side airbag was disconnect in order to remove the dash pad. Is there a simple way to reset the light or do I need to go to the dealership :(. I searched through the archives about the SRS light problem, but this resulted in ODBI info only.
