Factory Fog Light Install 850 1995

Normally volvo foglight installations require installation of relay and harness. You'll be able to tell because the harness has a relay socket on it!

Interestingly, you can vary the operation of the foglight from volvo's intended use by where you hook up the power lead on the fuse panel. If you hook it up where volvo says, the foglights will only work with the headlamps on and on low beam.

There are other taps where the foglights will work with or without the key on, with the headlamps on or off, with the headlamps on either high or low beam, or with the headlamps on parking or on/on low beam. I prefer the last one. You have to probe around to see which taps on the fuse block are live under which conditions.
