I'm not incorrect about the operating temperature of AMSOIL's 0w-30, I'm just saying unless you are running it in a car that sees very low temperatures, it is not recommended, and whatever gains you get in mileage, you will lose in engine wear. If you drive your Turbo hard, you will exceed the 0w-30's ability to protect the engine, in comparison to a 5w-30. If you and Dick think it's worth it, that's fine. I'm not saying you or anyone shouldn't do it, just know there are consequences.

Like I said, if people like you don't want to take the initiative to go and find AMSOIL for cheap, then don't cry to people like me, who did. I don't know about you guys, but as long as I order a couple cases at a time (4), I get my AMSOIL 5w-30 for about $4 a quart. And if you purchase by the jug, it's even cheaper, probably due to less packaging.

If you are in the Toronto area, I'll see what I can do to in getting you AMSOIL for cheap. I haven't been distributing for a while now (ever since the fall/winter rush), simply because the effort/attention/time is not worth it for me unless I get a number of large orders at a time. Last fall, my Volvo was SO loaded with AMSOIL 5w-30, PI Fuel Injector Cleaner, and ATF, that I actually removed my rear seats to maximize space. I sold literally 30+ cases within 2 weeks. However, in the off season, I sell an average of 1-5 cases a month.

I don't like to advertise my price on line for a number of reasons, which is why I like to sell locally, mostly by word of mouth. So if you are in town, I'd be more then happy to see what I can do for you.
