Backup Radar on 2002 XC malfunctioning V70-XC70 2002

The backup radar was working fine for a few months and just recently whenever the car is put into reverse the radar beeps at a constant tone as if to indicate that I'm very close to an object. I've checked the sensors and they all look fine except one is a tiny bit loose but not much. Has anyone heard of this problem before? I'd like to hear some experiences from other owners before I have to take it to the dealer. Thanks.
