'Tellus' Alloy Wheel Care Suggestions? V70-XC70 2001

Any suggestions for cleaning the alloy wheels? I live in Virginia and we have had our XC for about 10 months and I have cleaned them almost weekly with A2Z and Aluminum Wash. They have looked great after each cleaning but would get pretty brake dust laden after a few days to a week. We just had a few snows the last month or so where I am sure they were putting something down on the roads. When I cleaned them this weeks and last week I noticed some small black dots that didn't come off when I cleaned them.
