What do you all think of the 850's?? 850

The only thing I would worry about is basic maintenance and overall condition of the vehicle. Regular oil changes, when was the timing belt done(70k), has the ATF ever been changed, are there receipts for the maintenance? Then I would look at it like any other car; tires, brakes, interior, paint, etc.

If you are buying from a private party then call your local Volvo Dealer and see if they do pre-purchace inspections and what they charge.

If you are buying from a Volvo dealer you will pay a few more bucks, but likely the car will be in nearly new condition and you can always complain to the dealer if something breaks.

PS: If you are going to get a turbo then go with fully synthetic motor oil.
