Chill out 850 1996

Sometimes people are perfectly willing to pay someone to work on their car so that they can spend my time doing other things that are more important to them at the moment. I don't get high off of making repairs myself as you seem to. Often times I fix things myself, often times I don't. When I don't, I try not to get ripped off and I was simply seeking advice from this forum of knowlegeable "Volvoists" whether or not I was quoted too much for service. I don't complain about spending money for service (per you), I complain about extraordinarally inflated prices.

Thank you to those who responded to my question in a constructive, level-headed, helpful manner. I have only owned a Volvo for about a week now and this forum has already been an invaluable resource.
