Intermittent door light switch- where is it? S70 1998

The switch in the door (drivers side) that activates the interior lights is intermittent in my '98 S70- sometimes I have to re-open and close the door to turn off the interior lights. I don't believe it's a case of slamming the door harder. Before I take it in for service, I was wondering where the switch is located - I've heard it's part of the lock mechanism. Is this switch serviceable? Spraying lube inside the lock doesn't seem to help. I was wondering if these switches degrade over time. Anyone else experience the same problem?
