The DVD system can only be installed on any MY2002 S60, V70 or S80. C70s, S/V40s and/or any MY2001 S60, V70 or S80 (these can have the previous CD-ROM based system installed).

The new system is nicer and quicker. Has better graphics, can set the map on a any scale from 0.1 miles up to 60 miles (!), has much more info and requires only one disc for all US and Canada.

Last, but not least, the screen is wider by at least 1".
