97 850 crankshaft problem? 850 1997

Thanks for replying to my message,I was starting to think I would never get anyones opinion.B-T-W, the reason I removed the crank pulley is because any other car I've done the t-belt on had to have the crank pulley removed (Japanese cars),plus I was following the directions in my Chiltons repair book,and it did say to remove the crank pulley.I do now realize however that I could have left the pulley in place and worked the t-belt around it..Live and learn I guess!.
