CD stuck in SC816 S70 1998

Hi - I have a 98 S70 T% with the SC816 stereo system, which has an in-dash CD player. It's been working just fine, but just a few days ago a CD got stuck in there and won't come out. Every time I turn on the engine I hear the stereo whir as if it is trying to expell the disc but nothing happens. I figured out how to remove the whole unit - is there a way to open it up and remove the disk? Or is a trip to the dealer my only option at this point?
