The Volvo amp is 40 WPC X4 and is outragiosly priced compared to what you can get from an after market company. The Din to RCA setup works well, although the low level output from Volvo headunits is quite low, around .5V max. This tends to require turning up the input gain on your amp which injects a bit of extra noise in some situations, but can work if done right with attention to good grounds and good shielded cables.
