Does TRACS limit torque steer? 850

In my opinion, it does not help with torque steer. If you floor
it the ABS/TRACS starts to grab and release the brakes and you get
this extremly violent wheel pounding axle hop (well, I do on my T5
with my manual transmission which is pretty easy to launch with
full boost going). It feels like very bad things are happening
up front. Better to just let the tires break traction and spin
a bit.

Note that 99 and higher (with electronic throttles) can back off
the throttle (as well as apply brakes). These may help with torque
steer. 98 and earlier just apply the brakes.
