Wheel lug torque revisited V70-XC70 2002

Previous posts listed 81 ft-lbs as a recommendation. My 2002 V70 T5 Owner's Handbook lists 100 ft-lbs. The lugs appear to have been torqued dry. I'm afraid of deforming the aluminum wheels or the rotors, especially since I torque them with anti-seize compound (and my '99T5 warped rotors). I torqued them last week to spec, but chickened out and retorqued today to 81. Experiences with 100 dry/lubed? Any downsides to 81 lubed?

Sorry to post on this repeating topic but the Owner's Manual spec is different from that of the old posts. Thanks.
