99 V70 R AWD windows fogging up and smell of coolant, help

I have a 99 V70R AWD that I've had for about 3 weeks. Yesterday was cold and wet and the windshield started to fog up. Drove for about and hour and the defroster could not clear the window on the passenger side. The driver’s side was clear but the passenger side was foggy, sunroof too. I also started to smell coolant, sickly sweet smell. So I took it to Swedish Motors in Toronto right away. They checked for a heater core leak and pressure tested the cooling system, worked on the car for several hours and found no problem. They cleaned the inside of the windshield because there was a thin layer of coolant on it. The pollen filter is new and the compartment was cleaned. Coolant level is fine, no change. I have been driving the car again today and I can still smell coolant. What is the deal here? Anyone had experience with this?

Thanks
