Volvo learned you listen to AM radio and decided to fix it. I assume you paid $1,000 extra for an AM/FM/CD radio that doesn't actually work on AM --- like radios of many of the rest of us. Volvo believes you should get what you paid for. If you were to continue to spread the word that your AM radio actually worked, other owners would demand the same. Service departments would be flooded with calls.
