Pollen Filter and question on bracket!! 850 1993

Jake any dealer should have it(or can order it). The issue is which FILTER to get:regular or Charcol. I got the regular one for it seems the charcol is more restrictive(it filters out more stuff) and requires you blower motor to work harder.
Anyway, my question is: On my 97 854T5, I have a black bracket that is shaped different from the bracket I bought(see I thought I had no bracket or filter). So the square filter I have can only work with the new bracket, which will require me to open the entire cowl area. Can anyone share some light on if there is another SHAPE filter that will fit my stock pollen-bracket? I can't describe the shape but it is not square! Jack, after you open the cowl, see if you have a bracket. Apparently, my car may have had the filter at one point, but there is none in it now and I would rather not have to open that whole plastic cover. thanks all,BD
