Are You Sure? 850 1997

How about a little more information.

What does your charging system put out now? Is it above or below 13.8 volts? Run the lights for 5 minutes then have someone start the car and run it up to 2500-3000 rpm. After it starts put a voltmeter across the battery. Monitor the voltage for a few minutes. IF it reads 13.8-15.2 volts I would say your charging system is good and you need to look elsewhere.

You said your car was parked for a month. I would wonder what is pulling the juice out of your battery and killing it. Aftermarket stereo & amp? Glovebok light not turning off? Other accessories installed? I have left my 97 855R sitting for weeks while on vacation and it started just fine.

If everything else checks out OK my final suggestion is to buy either a trickle charger or a quick disconnect switch for the battery and disconnect it next time before you leave the car sitting for a month.
