bad idea...if anything...like a stick, u downshift to slow down (use the engine to help brake the car). sticking it in neutral is just not wise. only time i'd recommend a neutral is at a long stoplight and pull the hand-brakes. plus, don't over rev in neutral and try dropping it into gear or D...u'll be left with the auto a behind u :).
