Larger steering stops for 205/55 16s? 850

Just curious, but the posts I've read on larger tire/wheel combinations discuss the front tires rubbing the plastic fender wells at or near full lock. As this causes the liners to pop their screws out and other problems, has anyone considered manufacturing larger stops to replace those on the control arms? I never run my steering to full lock but my wife will. 8^0

Am I completely off the mark here? Would it be that hard to do?

Hmmmm.
