2000 V70R V70-XC70

My S70 T5 only gets Amsoil 10W-30. The oil gets changed every 10,000 miles. The filter, every 5000 miles. Is it more expensive? Yes. But really, we are only talking about $100 per year here. Lets not be cheap on the oil thing. Turbos run hot, they really like the synthetic stuff. Regarding the Amsoil, for $20 per year, you can become a preferred customer. This entitles you to buy all of their products at wholesale prices. I buy a fair amount of oil from them (boat, lawnmower, two cars, etc.). So, the $20 is well worth the price. Under this plan, the 10W-30 only costs about $4.50 per quart. They have lots of other good stuff too. Their greases and gear oils are awesome, and their fuel system cleaner (PI) is, excepting BK44, the best you can get. Good luck. www.amsoil.com
