front tyre wear 850 1995

Has anyone on the group experimented with different front toe-in spec? I'm asking cause I fitted new tyres in december and had the alignment done. I noticed on the weekend that there is slight outer edge wear on the front tyres and wondering whether this would be due to hard cornering or toe-in? The car in question is a std 850 T5R with 17" wheels and fitted with Bridgestone SO2 215/40 17.
