recommend rear speakers for an S70? S70 1998

Hi-

I have an 1998 S70 T5M. The rear right hatdeck speaker has begun to "buzz" with the bass. This is not the first time this has happened to me. The dealership replaced the rear left speaker twice under warranty for the same problem. This is the first right speaker to go out, and I am out of warranty.

I don't play the bass too heavily, I don't turn the volume up too much. I am convinced that the volvo OEM speaker is just a piece of crap. 3 replacements in 2 years is unacceptable. The service advisor wouldn't come out and admit that the speaker sucks, but he did say that they keep them in stock and replace them occasionally.

So the question - has anyone found an aftermarket replacement to fit in the exisiting location easily? Crutchfield has only 1 speaker that will fit, and the attachment holes will not line up. I'll have to drill new holes, cut off the ends of the speaker wires attach terminals, etc.

Has anyone installed aftermarket speakers in the back of their S70, and if so, what kind? Where did you buy them? How much were they?

Thanks
Joe
